Philosophy

 

 

Our Philosophy is God inspired and based solely on the authority of the Word of God (The Bible). We have totally rejected the secular world's theories and reasoning that the contrary to the Biblical mandates relative to the instruction and nurturing of God's children. We adhere to Christian principles and to the philosophy that God has set etemity, wisdom, understanding and knowledge and love in the hearts of His people. 

 

Mission Statement

 

The mission of MECA is to equip our students with the skills needed to become Godly leaders of tomorrow. In fulfillment of this mission, Miss Endy's Christian Academy aspires to:

  • Facilitate the development of our students through an academically challenging curriculum in grades K3-6th in order to develop core subject propensity and provides students with skills needed to successillly matriculate into middle school and the world;
     

  • Provide a diverse liberal arts education that will include programs in the fine arts, computer technology, physical education, and athletics;
     

  • Foster spiritual growth so that all students will acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and seek to develop a close, personal relationship; 
     

  • Teach biblical standards of conduct so that students will have the highest moral and ethical standards; 
     

  • Encourage students to make a difference in the lives of other by reconciling, rebuilding, and restoring men back to Christ as they share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

 

Statement of Faith

 

We Believe:

​

  • The Bible to be the inspired; the only infallible, authoritative Word of God;
     

  • There is one God, eternally existent in three persons; the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit;
     

  • In the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His resurrection from the dead, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory;
     

  • In the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for the salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God's grace and through faith we are saved; 
     

  • In the spiritual relationship of all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, living a life of righteous works, separated from the world, witnessing of His saving grace through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, ever seeking together to become more and more in every way like Christ who is head of His body, the Church.
